Painting By Moonlight

This shot was taken by setting the camera on a tripod on manual for a long exposure. I used the self-timer and then spun a flashlight around to “burn” in the circle of light. I flashed the flashlight once very quickly on myself to provide enough light for my face to show up in the image. It took about 12 pictures to get the lighting just how I wanted it with enough detail and balance between me, the circle of light and the moonlit sky.
