I’ve been lazy lately. The past few weeks of self-portrait taking have been drab. I’ve been fighting a recent wave of slothfulness, not very happy with the results but completing my daily project none-the-less. I’ve been itching for something new to do and so today I decided I would simply go back to basics and have some fun with just photography. Most of my pictures are of me eating dinner or walking to coffee or hanging out with friends. Those are fun pictures and they are the backbone of one of the goals of this project but I want to try to expand things and focus on one of the other goals, that being to think critically about photography every day, rather then just what I’m doing or where I’m going. I’m sure there will be many many more pictures of just a daily routine, but hopefully I’ll be able to find some time to interject a few shots in between and work on building my creativity… with images like today’s composite shot. I couldn’t decide which one I like better so I thought I’d just combine them for a new look.
